James Peterson is the varsity head coach at
Turlock High School. He also works as the Bulldog's defensive line coach. He grew up in Turlock and has lived there
most of his life. James played on the defensive and offensive
line all four years at Turlock High School. After he graduated
from high school in June of 1999, James played in the Lion's North
Vs. South All-Star Game and also accepted a full athletic football
scholarship to Sacramento State University. At Sacramento, James
attended classes and played defensive end for two years. He
then decided to move home and focus on his education. In the summer
of 2003, James began his football coaching career at Turlock High
School where he had the opportunity to assist his former coach Tom
Tyler with the defensive line duties. He is currently teaching Special Education at Turlock High School. |
